Very nice to meet you! My name is Summer and I am always so happy when someone takes a moment to spend time with me - I must admit, I am a regular love sponge. =)
Life hasn't always been very kind to me - I was previously used as a puppy mill dog, bred and bred until my owner no longer wanted me and left me me at an extremely high-kill gassing pound. Luckily I was found just in the nick of time and scored the most awesome, loving foster family here in Pittsburgh. But even though I haven't been treated very well, I am still a VERY loving and happy little girl, if a little shy at first.
I really love people, attention, cuddles, pets, walks, food and other dogs! I am housetrained, crate trained, very gentle, very eager to please, walk very nicely on a leash and ride well in the car - what more could you possibly ask for in an adoring new family member?
