Gretchen is the perfect combination of beauty and class! This mature gal ended up at the shelter when her previous adopter was deployed. Gretchen would love nothing more than to curl up on the couch with you as she is very affectionate! Gretchen's previous owners report that she is crate trained as well as house trained and loves squeaky toys! Although Gretchen lived successfully with children under 18 because of her size and affectionate nature it's not recommended that she be adopted in a home with very small children. She is considered to be friendly to other dogs and even gets along with cats!
Gretchen had the opportunity to go to an offsite event recently and her volunteer companion reported her to be good on the leash and great in the car! Senior dogs make great pets! Gretchen is past that silly puppy stage, knows her basic commands and still has a ton of love to give!
