During high school football, I tore my ACL. I had my knee reconstructed with the hope to return to sports. Unfortunately, I never felt capable or strong enough again. This event ended my athletic career. The desire to understand why this happened inspired me to become a personal trainer.
I needed an expert to push me past this injury and make me a better athlete. I lacked the strength, both mental and physical, to overcome my weak leg. Only years later did I admit this. I learned that many exercises in the gym actually cause and allow for injury. I overtrained myself and made little progress. I had no idea what I was doing. I wish I had someone like myself during high school.
I now train people like my past self for a living. I develop athletes. Become faster and stronger. Learn how to prevent injuries. Get in your best shape.
