Stocks and maintains exam rooms, and assists with clinical and clerical duties. Minimum Qualifications 1. High school graduate or equivalent. 2. Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program, or two years of experience in an ambulatory care setting. 3. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. 4. Knowledge of medical terminology. 5. Ability to operate various office and medical equipment. 6. Fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system. Preferred Qualifications 1. Certification as a Medical Assistant. 2. Experience as a Medical Assistant in a General Surgery environment.
