The AG-HPX500 is one of Panasonic's most successful and reliable cameras and is coupled with Canon KJ16ex7.7BIRSD PS12, the finest Canon lenses available for the AG-HPX500.
If you are an independent filmmaker or an up coming filmmaker this camera system gives you many of the features that you would expect of cameras systems 4 to 5 times the cost... The camera records at xxxxi/p/50/60/25/30/24fps 720p/25/30/60/24fps as well as standard definition progressive and interlaced in PAL and NTSC. Variable frame rates are available for undercranking and overcranking. Sensitivity is rated at f10 at xxxxlux.
Panasonic's cine-like gamma curves are included: Cinegamma-V for video out and Cinegamma-D for film out.
This camera and lens were bought new and is a one-owner camera. The camera was NEVER rented and was only used by the two members of our production staff... both are award-winning videographers.
