This has opened the door for a District Sales Manager (DM) in the Pittsburgh or Northern Ohio area. NOTE: You must already be located in the geographic areas listed.Ariens Company has a proud history of using a local workforce to manufacture our high quality lawn and snow products. This DM will continue to bring our superior Ariens and Gravely brand lawn equipment to dealers and landscapers in the northern Ohio and Pittsburgh. As we have very little turnover in our sales roles, the opportunity to join the Ariens Company sales team does not come around often. Role Summary – This role manages district sales activities to include regular travel and contact with our distributors and customers. To be successful, this will require commitment outside of the typical 8am to 5pm day. We need candidates who understand the commitment needed and have demonstrated success in the sales arena. This role is a vital link in the successful sales chain and candidates must perform the following essential duties: Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate assigned territory goals Directs sales forecasting activities, monitors and evaluates personal performance Completes market analysis activities to determine needs and monitor competition Meets with key clients and delivers sales presentations; maintains relationships and negotiates and closes deals; Advises dealers concerning sales and advertising techniques. Prepares sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and area of proposed client base expansion; analyzes sales statistics to help assigned dealers promote sales. Advises Regional Sales Manager of dealer assessment of products, pricing and features needed to meet the demands of both the homeowner and commercial markets.
