National Account Manager, Golf Sales in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania For Sale

Description As our National Account Manager, you'll provide the highest level of sales and service to Nike Golf's Strategic Account customers. You'll provide service to the assigned account base through regularly scheduled product presentations and service calls. You'll solicit, secure and submit orders from the account base for each booking period. You'll also be relied on to hit established revenue targets and maximize proper usage of MDF dollars, POP, and retail marketing dollars for accounts within your assigned account base. You'll manage all aspects of sell-in and sell-through of Nike Golf apparel, equipment and footwear products at retail. You'll manage the assigned account base through specific business planning and implementation of Nike Golf's policies, procedures and programs that enhance Nike Golf's corporate objectives. Furthermore, you'll communicate to the assigned account base appropriate Nike Golf corporate objectives and business plans. You'll refer to the DNA issues regarding assigned account base, suggested resolutions and business trends for each assigned account on a regular basis. You'll demonstrate a commanding knowledge of Nike Golf/competitors' policies, programs, product, national demographics, and regional/national market and economic influences. You'll also utilize the computer as a selling, planning and analysis tool. You'll exude presentation excellence in merchandising and product presentations and advanced skills in account/product planning, forecasting and analysis for the assigned account base. You'll constantly assist with national planning and forecasting. You'll manage all facets of accounts assigned. You'll demonstrate leadership through meeting participation, sales meeting participation, and mentorship. In addition, you'll establish credibility as a knowledgeable resource for sales/marketing information, trends and industry developments, and take a leadership role in establishing and achieving assigned objectives and sales goals. Qualifications Requirements for the position include: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent, or an additional 2 years' relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree At least 8 years' Nike or athletic product industry experience from Sales, Marketing, Product, and/or Retail Management Strong knowledge of and/or background in the golf industry Experience in managing national retail accounts strongly preferred Ability to and experience in prioritizing workload Ability to work with little supervision Effective at managing conflict Ability to comprehend retail/account analysis, sales programs, computer tools, and internal policies and procedures Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships Ability to work with all types of people/personalities Ability to work well with people at all levels within the organization as well as the customer's organization Comfortable in dealing with executive management at retail accounts Team oriented Ability to work independently Strong listening and written/verbal communication skills Solid presentation skills Ability to work varied business hours and weekends when needed Suitable vehicle and valid driver's license Ability to travel up to 50% of the time Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
