Provide administrative and legal support to Company??s legal department. Provide variety of functions, including legal research and draft and respond to discovery requests. Work closely with parent Company??s insurance group to administer Company??s insurance function. *1. Provide legal support and assistance to in:house legal staff in diverse practice areas. *2. Prepare draft of contracts, leases, purchase agreements and other related documents. *3. Conduct routine legal research as directed by attorneys. Respond to discovery requests by gathering and organizing documents and locating witnesses. *4. Support litigation efforts by organizing exhibits, maintaining trail notebooks and files, etc. *5. Supervise contract labor employees on large scale discovery projects. *6. Assist in tracking and management of outside legal fees. *7. Support preparation of corporate documents, including board of director??s resolutions and meeting minutes and maintain file system for corporate records. *8. Coordinate and administer Company??s insurance program (including workers?? compensation). *9. Work closely with parent Company??s insurance group to assure proper coverage is in place at all times. *10. Provide support in administration of insurance programs by working with employees, managers, medical personnel, in:house and outside attorneys, broker and third party administrators. *11. Manage and perform claims administration, audits, report preparation and compilation of statistics. *12. Carry out assigned functions in support of Company??s workers compensation process, while developing recommendations for best practices. *13. Present solutions to resolve claims as appropriate. 2:5 years experience. Bachelors degree in non:technical field, such as, Business and two:year paralegal certificate preferred.
