Title: Sales Manager, Retail SolutionsLocation: North America-United States-NC-GreensboroOther Locations: North America-United States-IL-Chicago, North America-United States-TN-Memphis, North America-United States-IN-Indianapolis, North America-United States-MA-Boston, North America-United States-AZ-Phoenix, North America-United States-DC-Washington, North America-United States-PA-Philadelphia, North America-United States-TX-Houston, North America-United States-TX-Dallas, North America-United States-MO-St. Louis, North America-United States-CO-Denver, North America-United States-PA-Pittsburgh, North America-United States-New York-New York CityJob Number: GILxxxx20Purpose of PositionThe successful candidate will develop and implement a successful sales strategy aimed at sophisticated and technologically adept convenience store retailers, operating chains ranging in size from 25 to 400 stores.Key Responsibilities * Analyze assigned accounts and territory, identify those with near term needs, create and execute sales plans to secure these opportunities. * Increase sales at targeted customers directly and/or through our distribution channel. * Prepare commercial proposals for products and services meeting customer needs. * Set goals for assigned accounts and deliver consistent results. * Follow up on closed sales, maintain customer relations and expand penetration within customer organizations when appropriate. * Provide forecasts and regular reports on assigned accounts/regions. * Quickly become a product expert in areas of end user value, ROI, functionality and technology for the Retail Solutions product set: Passport POS, Applause dispenser media, Impulse upselling solution. * Travel extensively in assigned region of the United States and Canada.Qualifications:* Business, Finance, IT degree/background * Proven record of success selling value of retail technology products and services to large, multi-site customers. Appropriate background may include selling of POS, Foodservice, Back Office, or Loyalty software to Enterprise accounts. * Experience in Channel Sales (Distribution) Organization: Gilbarco
