Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, you will work closely with Systems Services Sr. Engineer to evaluate the existing system maintenance programs of all the Operations and Maintenance (O and M) sites and recommend the optimum maintenance programs for Automated People Mover (APM), Advanced Rapid Transit (ART) and Monorail technologies.
In your role you will:
: Develop System Maintenance Programs for the new rolling stock under development i.e. INNOVIA APM 300, INNOVIA ART 300 and INNOVIA Monorail 300;
: Evaluate and compare preventive maintenance programs of the same technology sites and on the basis of reliability, upkeep and cost of maintenance, recommend the optimum System Maintenance Programs for the sites of various configurations;
: Promote the distribution of best practices throughout the Systems O and M organization by feeding forward lessons learned from audit activities through verbal communications and effective use of the O and M SharePoint site;
: Review major overhaul requirements of vehicles / systems of APM, ART and INNOVIA technologies;
: Work in coordination with the aftermarket sales team to recommend, plan and implement overhaul programs;
: Develop field bulletins, safety directives, technical surveys, revisions / enhancement of the quality standards;
: Recommend the best corrective maintenance strategy consisting of in:house and outsourced maintenance contents for sites of different configuration and geographical locations.
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate:
: You hold a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and some mechanical aptitudes;
: You cumulate a minimum of five (5) years of maintenance or product introduction experience;
: Your experience working with generators would be a definite asset;
: Your experience comes from either the rail, the automotive, the aerospace industry or from the Military;
: You are driven for results and you have a great concern for quality and accuracy;
: Your English communication skills are excellent both written and spoken.
Important information:
The incumbent of this position must be able to travel as required, 50 to the sites.
