Position Summary:
Novus Staffing Solutions is a full:service employment and staffing
firm serving the needs of businesses and job:seekers in the Greater
Pittsburgh Metropolitan area. We are actively recruiting
experienced Underwriters for a temporary:to:hire position for our
client located Downtown. Qualified candidates will possess a
minimum of one year experience in mortgage loan underwriting and will
hold extensive knowledge of DU and LP underwriting systems.
Responsibilities:
* Reviewing credit history, financial statements, and other
financial documents belonging to loan applicants to determine loan
eligibility
* Analyzing tax returns and financial documents
* Maintain productivity levels in compliance with
pre:determined quota expectations
* Develop and maintain positive working rapport with clients
and internal staff
Requirements
* High school diploma; Bachelors Degree is preferred
* A minimum of one year experience in mortgage loan
underwriting
* NMLS license is preferred
